The Ministry of Science and Technology has recently issued the "Notice of the Ministry of Science and Technology on Issuing the Application Guidelines for 2023 Ministerial and Municipal Linkage Projects of the National Key R&D Plan" Synthetic Biology "Key Special Project" (Guo Ke Fa Zi [2023] No. 119), which is hereby forwarded to you. Please expedite the organization and application of the project according to the requirements of the Ministry of Science and Technology's notice (relevant documents can be downloaded from the "National Science and Technology Management Information System Public Service Platform" website). All projects that require our bureau to issue a recommendation letter for application shall be reviewed and submitted to the Agricultural and Social Security Department of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau by the competent departments of the science and technology bureaus and relevant units under each jurisdiction (district), and the applicant shall be responsible for the authenticity of the projects declared by the applicant.

Each competent department shall submit the recommendation letter for the application of the "Synthetic Biology" key special project in this region to our bureau before 16:00 on August 15, 2023, and submit the application materials and recommendation letter to the Social Development and Basic Research Department of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology before 16:00 on August 17, 2023.
