1. Disclosure Task Content

Focusing on the four key directions of the metaverse, humanoid robots, brain computer interfaces, and general artificial intelligence, focusing on innovative tasks such as core foundation, key products, public support, and demonstration applications, we will explore and cultivate a group of advantageous units that master key core technologies and have strong innovation capabilities, break through a batch of iconic technology products, and accelerate the landing and application of new technologies and products. (The task is detailed in the attachment).

II. Recommendation Conditions

1 The applicant must be an enterprise or public institution registered within the territory of the People's Republic of China with independent legal personality. The applicant unit must promise to complete the corresponding tasks within the specified deadline after the announcement.

2 Encourage enterprises, financial institutions, technology service institutions, universities, research institutes, and new research and development institutions to apply through a consortium, with one leading unit and no more than four joint participating units.

3 Each province, autonomous region, municipality directly under the central government, and city specifically designated in the state plan, as well as the competent departments of industry and information technology, as well as central enterprise group organizations, shall give priority to recommending projects with outstanding innovation capabilities, good industrialization prospects, and obvious industry driving effects, in accordance with the principles of government guidance and voluntary enterprise participation.

III. Job Requirements

1 The declaration subject can use the declaration system（ https://jbgs.ccidnet.com ）Apply and fill in the required materials after completing the registration. The deadline for declaration is November 10, 2023.

2 The recommending unit shall log in to the system with an account and confirm the recommended list before November 30, 2023.

In principle, the number of recommended projects for each direction by the industrial and information technology authorities of each province, autonomous region, and municipality shall not exceed 15;

In principle, the number of recommended projects for each direction by the industrial and information technology regulatory departments of cities with separate planning shall not exceed 5;

In principle, the number of recommended projects in each direction of national artificial intelligence innovation and application pilot areas such as Shanghai (Pudong New Area), Shenzhen, Jinan Qingdao, Beijing, Tianjin (Binhai New Area), Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Changsha, Wuhan, Nanjing, etc. shall not exceed 3, and shall not occupy the local indicators. After being reviewed by the industrial and information management departments of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government, they shall be submitted uniformly;

Central enterprise groups and subordinate units do not occupy territorial indicators and can directly submit them. In principle, the number of recommended projects in each direction should not exceed 3.

3 The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shall organize the selection and publication of a list of shortlisted units (in principle, there shall be no more than 5 units in each direction).

After the shortlisted units complete the research task (no more than 2 years from the date of publication of the list), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology entrusts a third-party professional organization to carry out evaluation work, and selects the best units to determine the winning units on the list (in principle, no more than 3 units are selected for each direction).

4 Please highly value the work of unveiling and commanding future industrial innovation tasks, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of enterprises, financial institutions, research institutes, new research and development institutions, relevant industry alliances, and industry associations, follow the principles of openness, fairness, and impartiality to complete the recommendation work, and increase support in policies, funds, resource matching, and other aspects.
