According to the "Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the application of 5G Application Security Innovation and Promotion Center in 2022" (Department of Industry and Information Technology Network Security Letter (2022) No. 220) requirements, after enterprise declaration, local recommendation, expert review, site inspection and online publicity and other links, Fifteen subjects in 13 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) were selected as the second batch of 5G application security innovation promotion centers (see the annex for the list). Notice of relevant matters is as follows:

First, in order to further strengthen regional coordination and gather strength, each province (region, city) set up a promotion center, for the province (region, city) has a promotion center or more than two subjects selected, each subject as a sub-center, together to form the provincial promotion center.

2. Each promotion center shall further consolidate the existing scientific research capacity and supporting resources in accordance with the requirements of the "5G Application Security Innovation Promotion Center Declaration and Creation Guide" and the declaration content, and provide conditions for the development of the promotion center; Strengthen demonstration characteristics, improve the innovation and replicability of products, services, and solutions, increase large-scale promotion efforts, and promote the security level of 5G industry applications; Implement the declaration plan, effectively grasp the results in the development of standards, security service cultivation, solution promotion, personnel and technical training, and give full play to the leading role of innovation.

Third, the provincial communications administration, industry and information technology authorities (hereinafter referred to as local authorities) where the promotion center is located should guide the promotion center to focus on the target industry areas, increase resource investment, highlight the characteristics of products and services, strengthen demonstration and promotion, submit results on time, and provide necessary policy and financial support. For multiple sub-centers in the province, the local competent departments should coordinate and guide the sub-centers to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning, encourage complementary advantages, staggered development, and cohesion.

Fourth, our department will further strengthen the management of the promotion center, strengthen the construction of the exchange mechanism of the promotion center, organize and carry out a series of activities such as 5G application security supply and demand docking, and sum up typical publicity experience.
