In order to further improve the basic research and innovation ability of industrial design in the province, according to the "Work Plan for the establishment of Industrial Design and Research Institute in Key Fields of Jiangsu Province" (hereinafter referred to as the "creation plan"), the matters related to the organization of the cultivation and establishment of Industrial design and Research Institute in key fields of Jiangsu Province in 2023 are notified as follows:

1. Strengthen training and guidance

The cultivation and establishment of Industrial design Research Institute in key areas of Jiangsu Province is an important task and key measure to promote the innovation and development of industrial design in our province. Please strengthen the creation of program policy publicity and business guidance, promote the region's advanced manufacturing clusters and key industrial chain leading enterprises, industrial design centers at or above the provincial level and other units, actively carry out the cultivation and creation of provincial key areas of industrial design and research institutes, establish the "platform + company" research institute operating model and sustainable development operating mechanism, increase the basic research of industrial design, Accelerate the construction of industrial design talents, and develop public services for industrial design. In order to improve the quality of creation and reduce the burden on enterprises, on the basis of voluntary enterprises, enterprises that have established a "platform + company" operation model are preferentially recommended to apply for provincial industrial design and research institute cultivation units.

2. Carry out evaluation and acceptance

Please, in accordance with the requirements of the creation of the work plan, strengthen the tracking services that have been included in the provincial industrial design and research institute cultivation units, help coordinate and solve the difficulties and problems encountered in the creation, guide enterprises against the provincial key areas of industrial design and research institute acceptance conditions and evaluation standards, and seriously do a good job of creation and self-evaluation. For the units that have the conditions to create, guide them to check the acceptance standards, organize to improve the accounting data, apply for acceptance and other work, and our office will organize expert review and on-site evaluation and acceptance in a timely manner.

3. Organize recommendation and report

Please, in accordance with the requirements of the notice, organize and do a good job in the establishment of provincial key areas of industrial design and research institute cultivation units and evaluation and acceptance of application materials review, on-site inspection and recommendation work. Guide enterprises to carefully fill in the "Application for the establishment of Industrial Design and Research Institute of Jiangsu Province ×× Field" (Annex 1), "Application for Acceptance of Industrial Design and Research Institute of Jiangsu Province ×× Field" (Annex 2), and submit the formal text to our office before March 20, and each unit requires a paper version and an electronic disc.
