Recently, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and the Municipal Finance Bureau jointly released the list of regional headquarters enterprises in Changzhou for the year 2023. Saint Gobain (China) Management Co., Ltd., a key foreign-funded enterprise in our district, was listed. This is also the first municipal headquarters in the city to receive this honor as a Chinese regional headquarters established by the Fortune 500. As of now, there are a total of 7 municipal level foreign-funded headquarters enterprises in our district, gathering over 2000 foreign-funded enterprises from 68 countries (regions) around the world, of which 36 Fortune Global 500 enterprises have invested in 52 projects.

Saint Gobain Group was founded in 1665 and headquartered in Paris, France. In 2022, it ranked 252nd in the Fortune 500 and is the world's largest producer of building materials. In 2022, the operating revenue reached 51.197 billion euros, with approximately 1000 production enterprises in 70 countries worldwide and over 167000 employees worldwide. The sales and service network covers five continents worldwide.

Saint Gobain (China) Management Co., Ltd. was registered and established in the High tech Zone in June 2022, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan and a registered capital of 500 million yuan, with approximately 200 employees. As the headquarters of Saint-Gobain China, it performs functions such as project investment, management, mergers and acquisitions, financial services, and digital platform trade. It is expected that the sales revenue will exceed 1 billion yuan and the total tax payment will be 22 million yuan in 2023. With the development of the business, functions such as sales, logistics, research and development, and technical services in China will gradually be introduced. The annual sales revenue growth rate will be 15% in the first two years, 10% in 3-6 years, and 8% in 7-10 years. The project aims to achieve efficient operation of the headquarters in China through the centralization of talent, management, and business. At the same time, it contributes to promoting the industrial transformation and upgrading of Changzhou High tech Zone and achieving high-quality regional development.
