On September 11th, Changzhou National High tech Zone signed a capital increase agreement with Meiyi Electric Steel Group to jointly promote the high-quality development of the casting industry. District Party Secretary Zhou Qing attended the signing ceremony and met with the delegation led by Eduardo Munios Hulta, Chief Operating Officer of US Iran Electric Steel.

The total investment for the newly added casting capacity project is approximately $50 million, with an additional registered capital of $15 million. The new project will add an annual production capacity of 15000 tons of chromium molybdenum steel and high chromium white cast iron, with an expected annual output value of approximately 320 million yuan after reaching the production capacity.

Meiyi Electric Steel was founded in 1917 and headquartered in Chile. It is a leading supplier of comprehensive solutions for wear-resistant parts in the fields of mining, construction, and industrial machinery equipment. Its distribution areas include mill liners, crusher components, grinding media, slag buckets, pump components, track blocks, and excavator tools. Meiyi Electric Steel (Changzhou) Machinery Co., Ltd. is the first Chilean investment project in Changzhou City. Its main products are various types of mill liners, with an annual output of 30000 tons of mining machinery wear-resistant parts. Castings are made using advanced technology and equipment, and 70% of the molds are completed on automatic molding lines, which belongs to the current international advanced level.

Zhou Qing welcomed the arrival of Eduardo Munios Hulta and his delegation, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to Meiyi Electric Steel Group for its contributions to the economic and social development of Changzhou National High tech Zone over the years. We hope that the Meiyi Electric Steel Group can fully utilize the advantages of the deep foundation and abundant talent resources of the high-tech zone's casting industry, continuously expand production capacity, expand business scale, promote early start, construction, and production of new projects, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win situation.
