As a representative exhibit of Soviet style garden architecture, the "Canglang Pavilion" is deeply loved by teachers and students. The Jiangsu Overseas Friendship Association and the Suzhou Overseas Friendship Association jointly initiated a donation to the University of Macau for the construction of a Soviet style pavilion, modeled after the famous Song Dynasty pavilion "Canglang Pavilion" in Suzhou. The pavilion is named "Su Ao Pavilion" after the bell spirit of Soviet style garden architecture and the elegance of Jiangnan water charm.
