Recently, the finals of the 8th "Maker China" and 2023 Jiangsu Province Small and Medium sized Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were successfully concluded in Suzhou. Changzhou enterprises have achieved remarkable results again, winning one first prize, one second prize, and five third prizes in the Jiangsu Provincial Finals, achieving four "first in the province", namely the first in the number of registered projects, the first in the number of enterprises shortlisted for the finals, the first in the province in the number of winning enterprises in the finals, and the first in the number of winning enterprises in the province in the top ten double innovation projects (2013-2022).

Since its launch in June, this competition has received a positive response from innovation and entrepreneurship entrepreneurs in the city and widespread attention from all sectors of society, with 131 registered projects, setting a record high in history. The participating enterprises exhibit five major characteristics: "excellent main body, wide field, strong innovation, solid content, and high growth", covering key advanced manufacturing clusters such as high-end equipment, new energy, new materials, new energy vehicles and core automotive components, new generation electronic information technology, biopharmaceuticals, and new medical devices, fully demonstrating the characteristics and strength of "Changzhou Intelligent Manufacturing". On July 28th, the launch ceremony and first regional competition of the 8th "Maker China" and 2023 Jiangsu Province Small and Medium sized Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were successfully held in Changzhou. After intense competition in regional and thematic competitions, 7 enterprises in our city stood out from nearly 800 registered projects in the province and were nominated for the provincial final roadshow, accounting for more than one-third of the total number of enterprises nominated for the final. In the end, Jiangsu Daoning Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. won the first prize of the Jiangsu Provincial Finals with the highest score of the entire competition, and Chenguang (Changzhou) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. won the second prize of the Jiangsu Provincial Finals. Changzhou is a subsidiary of Electronic Co., Ltd., Changzhou Jingyang Semiconductor Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Ketai Optics (Changzhou) Testing Technology Co., Ltd., Changzhou Le'ao Medical Technology Co., Ltd Five enterprises, including Lakeside Optoelectronics Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., have won the third prize in the Jiangsu Provincial Finals. In addition, the competition also selected the top ten entrepreneurship and innovation projects in Jiangsu Province (2013-2022), and two enterprises, Changzhou Tonghui Electronics Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Zhima Technology Co., Ltd., were awarded this honor.
