On the afternoon of August 8th, the signing ceremony for the Changcheng Automobile Industry Intelligent Lamp Manufacturing Base project was held in the Wujin National High tech Zone. Yun Qicheng, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee and District Mayor, met with Chang Guomin, Chairman of Changcheng Automobile Industry Jiangsu Co., Ltd. Changcheng Automobile Industry Jiangsu Co., Ltd. was established in 1994, focusing on the research and development, design, production, and sales of automotive lighting fixtures. Its main products include front combination lights, rear combination lights, and rear through lights. The company's products have been widely used in well-known automobile enterprises such as Ideal Automobile, SAIC General Motors, NIO Automobile, and JAC Automobile, with a sales revenue of 1.2 billion yuan in 2022.

In order to better serve the ideal car, Changcheng Automobile Industry Jiangsu Co., Ltd. plans to build a production base in the Wujin National High tech Zone, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. The project aims to build an automated intelligent car light product production line, which can produce 1 million sets of front and rear combination lights for vehicles annually after production. The project is expected to be officially put into operation by the end of 2024, and it is expected to achieve invoicing sales of 800 million yuan by 2025. The settlement of this project not only provides strong support for improving the intelligent electric vehicle industry chain in the Wujin National High tech Zone, but also injects strong momentum into the construction of the first zone of the new energy capital in Wujin, promoting the triggering of the "chain effect" in the automotive industry cluster, and showcasing Wujin's new achievements in strengthening, supplementing, and extending the chain.
