In order to improve the quality of utilizing foreign investment and accelerate the construction of key foreign investment projects, on August 24th, a delegation led by Shao Bin, Director of the Research Department of the Special Representative Office of the Ministry of Commerce in Nanjing, Wang Qi, a third level researcher, and Bao Jingjuan, Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment Department of the Provincial Department of Commerce, came to visit and investigate the progress of the iconic foreign investment project - Sun Induced Electricity (Changzhou) Electronics Co., Ltd. Peng Li, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, accompanied the investigation.
Sun Induced Power (Changzhou) Electronics Co., Ltd. was established in August 2019, mainly producing multi-layer ceramic capacitors with a total investment of 1.5 billion US dollars and a registered capital of 500 million US dollars. The total investment for the first phase of the project is 600 million US dollars. Construction began in November 2021 and was completed in July of this year. It is expected to be officially put into operation in November.
Shao Bin listened to the introduction of the company's leaders on global layout, corporate positioning, talent recruitment, and product application fields. He inquired about environmental protection in the production process, AI technology application, and other situations. He gained a detailed understanding of the difficulties faced by the company before production, the medium to long-term trend judgment of the global electronic product market, expectations for domestic and foreign sales markets, experience and practices in wastewater recycling and low-carbon manufacturing. He encouraged enterprises to promote project progress in order, achieve early production and operation, and assist Changzhou in high-quality development.
