On August 20th, the 22nd China Remote Sensing Conference opened in Changzhou. The theme of the conference is "Global Change and Regional Response". Chinese experts and scholars in the field of remote sensing, representatives of remote sensing industry and aerospace information industry enterprises gathered in Changzhou to deeply exchange ideas on the development direction and commercial application prospects of remote sensing application technology, and discuss new opportunities for the development of aerospace information industry together.

Wang Qinmin, Vice Chairman of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Director of the National Electronic Government Expert Committee, Li Guoping, Chief Engineer of the National Space Administration and Academician of the International Academy of Astronautics and Astronautics, and Hu Guangjie, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province, attended the meeting. Mayor Sheng Lei delivered a welcoming speech.

Wang Qinmin's keynote report on "Exploring the Value of Spatial Information and Empowering the Construction of Digital China". He pointed out that it is necessary to have a deep understanding of the overall layout of digital China construction and the systematic and collaborative nature of empowering economic and social development, fully explore the value-added role of spatial data integration, based on local and industrial factors, develop data application scenarios, promote innovative development of data development and utilization, cultivate new driving forces through information technology, and assist in the high-quality development of digital China construction.

Li Guoping emphasized that building a strong aerospace country requires strengthening space applications and innovating application scenarios. We should take the coordinated development of service regions and innovative development of local economy as the starting point, better integrate spatial information technology achievements, data resources, infrastructure, etc. with local needs, foundations, characteristics, etc., and further transform from business services to scale industry strategies.

Sheng Lei stated that in the process of striving to enter the city of GDP trillion, Changzhou urgently needs the support and assistance of numerous emerging industries, including aerospace information. I hope that experts and scholars can provide insights into the development of Changzhou's aerospace information industry and introduce more innovative elements into Changzhou. Changzhou will vigorously support the growth of benchmark enterprises, strengthen scenario innovation and scale application, continuously open up new fields and tracks for development, inject new impetus and add new engines for high-quality development.

On site, the China Remote Sensing Commission presented the Beijing No.3 satellite image of the central area of Changzhou to the city of Changzhou.

On site, awards were also given to the winning team of the 2022 China Remote Sensing Excellent Achievements, the "First High Score Application Earth Observation Technology Innovation Competition", and the award-winning units of the "High Score Special Satellite Application Excellent Achievements". The conference also released the first batch of products of the "National Remote Sensing Data and Application Service Platform Ecosystem".
